Affirmations are positive statements that challenge negative thoughts and beliefs. Repeating them regularly can instill a sense of self-worth and confidence in yourself. 

Life can be a whirlwind of challenges, tasks, and emotions, and sometimes all we need is a little boost of confidence to help us navigate through it. Affirmations are powerful tools that can reshape our mindset and help us embrace our strengths. I want to share some personal affirmations that have made a difference in my life, and I believe they can do the same for you. 

1. You better love yourself,
     - When I was younger, I used to want to be loved by everyone; I was a people pleaser.
2.Your gonna need yourself,
    - Becoming a mother and wife at 30, I had to take care of everyone in the house. I almost lost myself.
3. You got to take care of yourself,
   - In the last 3 years, I have witnessed too many of my close-in-age female cousins and high school friends lose their lives to health complications 
4. Loving yourself = Self-Care
   - I was unintentionally taken for granted by those I helped, and at my lowest, no one was around to care for me as I needed.
